Our Sustainability Strategy SWFT Clinical Services Ltd are in the process of developing our sustainability strategy. We strive to support the Green Plans for all NHS Trusts we work with, and will be sharing how we aim to embed sustainability within our organisation very soon. We lead on several Green Plan workstreams for South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT), including Estates, Capital, Waste, Food and Nutrition. We also support the delivery of Green Spaces, Workforce and Medicines targets, and have successfully integrated sustainability training for colleagues throughout our company. You can view the SWFT Green Plan here. The Company also supports applicable targets within the Green Plans at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust as we manage Outpatient Pharmacies in these locations. We have experience delivering carbon savings throughout our estates, facilities and clinical services, further details of which can be found under Services. In all procurement tenders, potential suppliers are asked to submit their Carbon Reduction Plans, and demonstrate their commitment to Net Zero as part of Social Value. Please contact Sustainability.Team@swft.nhs.uk with any questions. Lucy, Rahul and Justyna have introduced a digital meal ordering system for patients in the Nicol Unit at Stratford Hospital to reduce food waste. Dave and Paul from the Estates team are working with Andrew from F. P. Hurley, the decarbonisation contractor.
