Case Study: FP Hurley Contractor FP Hurley have delivered significant social value both for SWFT and the wider Coventry and Warwickshire locality as part of the decarbonisation contract. This includes: - Games and play equipment to McGregor Ward’s Young Minds Matter charity, including a playhouse, football tent and table tennis table - £2,000 towards warmth packs to be handed out by SWFT community nurses based in Atherstone, as part of a fuel poverty campaign - Toiletries and essentials were donated to P3 charity, supporting homelessness and community hubs - Donations made to Warwick District Foodbank - Employment of local full-time workers for the contract duration - Delivery of a talk on climate change to children at a local school - Two work experience students hosted on site and apprentice training throughout the project - Use of local SME sub-contractors.
